How long do you leave a tick collar on?

For continuous protection under normal conditions replace the collar every seven months. Under conditions where pets are exposed to severe flea and tick infestations, it may be necessary to replace the collar more frequently. Wetting will not impair the collar’s effectiveness or the pet’s protection.

Kiltix collars work by releasing the flumethrin from the collar as a fine powder which is distributed around your pet’s body as it moves. Kiltix provides cost-effective tick control for your dog and is available from your veterinarian, pet store or rural reseller store.
